That is an project that I am just starting that I am very proud of.

RioT Impro is not just another free improvisation record label, it is an ideal about a musical scene in the Netherlands.

The focus of the label is to release free improvisation from the Dutch based new generation of improvisers.

It is a non profit organization so all the money earned by the label will go back to the label in order to produce more records.

The first record was made by RIO with help of the musicians but also Dick Lucas that has made all the mix and mastering for free, Jellie Dekker that made the videos, Carolyn Muntz that has been so helpful with the organization, Raoul van der Weiden that has made the cover, Han Bennink for been so supportive and other amazing people that has been helping us to start this project.

Now we are able to give some steps forward, as soon as we sell enough CDs we will make our second, third, fourth...

And on this way we will help the musicians to expose their work more and more around the world.
